Then enter ‘Can You Talk Security?’ – a nationwide communications competition launched by BT, Get Safe Online and Cyber Security Challenge UK.

Cyber crime costs UK businesses an estimated £21 billion every year. ‘Can You Talk Security?’ has been launched by leading industry bodies to help small businesses understand cyber security threats and apply effective ways to secure themselves.

Cyber Security Challenge UK, BT and Get Safe Online are looking for innovative marketing plans which will communicate online risks to business leaders, providing practical solutions which can be used to reduce online threats. This is a great opportunity for any creative people interested technology or simply those looking for valuable work experience to help them get that first job in the marketing or communications profession.

Winners will get the opportunity to work with a professional creative team to turn their concept into a national marketing campaign featured on the Get Safe Online website. There are also technical and creative training courses, work experience taster days and membership of professional bodies on offer for successful entries. All the finalists will be invited to an awards event which will be held on the revolving 34th floor of the BT Tower in London later this year
