Networking in Surrey News - week beginning 27 June 2011

Ah, Summer is really here at last: Wimbledon in full flow (‘plucky’ Brits falling like flies!), sudden downpours, a draw at Lord’s, industrial unrest in the offing, a load of rubbish on the telly – all reassuringly familiar stuff!

Equally familiar is the sight of a Networking in Surrey site packed full of great events, starting with the…

Learn from your target group to minimise risk

A comprehensive marketing strategy will include all milestones and plans for initiatives and promotions for probably the first three years of each new project.

The key driver behind making a product successful, i.e. minimising the risk of failure, is to ensure you know as much as possible about the marketability of the product well before you launch. Once formulation, packaging, leaflet, hot spot and…

Exercise doesn’t have to mean the gym does it?

Getting out and about and finding something that you really enjoy doing is part of the fun of exercising and keeping fit.

Maybe you like to walk, swim, ride your bicycle or just take the dog for a brisk walk.

The key is to find something that you really ENJOY doing and stick to it and don’t be AFRAID to get out of…

What’s an IMEIE number?

It’s a fact that mobile telephones are the single biggest item behind handbags and wallets for being snatched and that 14 to 17 year olds are the most likely victim.

If you haven’t already, have your mobile telephone security marked and only use your with office address, I know it won’t stop your mobile from being stolen but if it does…

Why do you need to avoid muscle loss while on a weight management programme?

The reason that this is bad news is simple; you only want to lose fat!

And since your muscles are the most efficient fat burning machinery in your body, why would you want to lose, or shrink or worse still damage them.

Furthermore, your heart happens to be a pretty important muscle in your body, and it could…

How do you top up your gas tank?

Part of my daily process always involves starting my day by empowering myself.

This is something that I’ve for quite a while now as I find it’s the perfect start to my day and really has the effect of not only charging me up for the day but it also perfectly centres my mind and my body for the tasks of the day and gives me “clarity of Thought”.

Whether I…

People buy People - don't they?

I am just about to celebrate the end of my first year in, for me, the new field of network marketing and what a learning curve it has been! I’ve greedily read every article I can find about what to do and what not to do, I’ve learned how to be a Polar Bear (?), I’ve learned how not to ‘vomit’ on my clients (!), and I’ve learned to really get to know my particular offering through baby steps, and that you can’t do it all straight away.   I’ve learned however, most of all, that this is a people… Continue

Networking in Surrey News – week beginning 13 June 2011

Royal Ascot already (300th anniversary) – and Wimbledon next week (which includes the longest day) – 2011 is rapidly approaching half time. Hope you’re having a good year. Most people out there in Networkland tell me they’re ‘doing OK’, which I interpret as not really growing their business as fast as they would like.

At least they’re out there actively networking, so…

Don't assume that extended family or the State will fill the gap

Recent research has found that the number of fathers who have their income protected with an Income Protection policy has fallen a further 5% in the last two years.

It found that only one in five (22%) fathers now have income protection with two-thirds (64%) having life cover and less than a third (30%) critical illness cover.

This low take up could leave families…

Kettle what????

ne of the best ways to train and keep fit is to keep your mind and body completely engaged at all times and one of the best ways of doing this is to change your training routine on a regular basis.

Now I don’t mean go out there and do something completely different every single day as that would be counterproductive and not consistent unless you are a professional athlete in…

I’m sick of hearing about weight loss I really want to gain weight?

Believe it or not there are an awful lot of people out there who are actually underweight and desperate to bring their weight up to healthy levels!

These are the “skinny” people who have struggled with their weight all their lives and no matter what they seem to eat they just can’t add a single ounce!

Now to all the overweight folks out there you might be…
