- Danelle&Daisy is a homemade and Handmade Sheabutter skincare products that hand made in Cobham using raw , pure and natural sheabutter, coconut and there natural oils sourced directly from Ghana from women run organisations.
As a child growing up in Ghana, my mother used unrefined organic Shea butter, Coconut oil, Cocoa Butter oils to make our body creams. She also made our own soaps by using the Cocoa Pods, Plantain back to make our homemade Black Soap known locally as ‘AlataSamina’. When I travelled to England and could not find any creams on the market to moisturise my skin properly especially during winter seasons, I continued to request my mother to make me creams and soaps.
Danielle & Daisy was started after my first daughter Danielle was born with severe eczema and could not find any product on the market to adequately soothe and even heal her skin. And so, when Daisy (my youngest daughter) was also diagnosed with the dry skin condition, I felt the need to let my mother teach me how to start making the cream and the soap. I soon stated making products for friends for their skin and hair strictly using unrefined Shea butter, Unrefined Cocoa Butter and Coconut Oil only from Ghana.
At Danielle and Daisy, we create our beauty products by using traditional inspired use of unrefined shea butter. We combine this inspiration with the science of our unconventional formulation process to give our customers the most effective natural products available.
Shea Butter is the bases of most of the products of the Danielle & Daisy brand. We source our Shea Butter directly from women organisations in Ghana - West Africa to help provide economic access to enable the women to feed, clothe and educate their children. Our products are not tested on animals. Danielle and Daisy products are full of antioxidants and natural oils, it is totally talc and paraben free. Our products are made with carefully selected natural products Combining these two collections is wonderful even for the most sensitive skin, leaving you looking truly flawless and luminous all day long.
We work to make a positive and meaningful impact in the world, especially in the lives of women, women surviving domestic violence, lone mothers and ethnic minority women. We also aim to promote social connection with women suffering from dementia and other everything we have done up to this point, our successes and challenges, are connected to our higher purpose which is to impact lives of women and the less privileged.
